I'm not surprised, at least it wasn't a Morris Marina

But the Avenger did have the funky L shaped rear lights :)

Happy memories. I have owned 3 Capris, more than any other car. I must have been so macho!

So refreshing to see a non-politically correct car-related clip. :) :)

Gloves and seat covers , what's in the boot , duct tape and cable ties ? Be careful you don't get pulled over , you'll be looking at 3 years on the nonce wing :D

Lovely advert - I watched the next 2 clips as well and got all nostalgic as I had two Capri Injections back in the 80s. Fantastic cars!

But as soon as Chris Routledge appeared I knew I will never afford another! :(

But then why would I pay more for a Capri than a Z4 Coupe with another 100 bhp!

And my daily 325ti has some similarities - 6 cylinder petrol, manual box, hatch with rear seats, not too big (albeit not a long bonnet) but is more powerful and has loads of features Capris never had like electric windows, central locking, climate, cruise, etc. etc. but by comparison as cheap as chips!

Nostalgia doesn't come cheap!

BTW, what is it with gloves - only reason I can think of is to avoid fingerprints when the car has been stolen, which quite a few Capris were!

Loved my mark3 3.0S midniight blue, lowered modded engine, compomotive wheels. Drivinig the Z reminds me of the drive to be honest, obviously much more refined and better handling in the Z :driving:

You can keep your nostalgia though im keeping my Z

I never got the idea of wearing gloves, is a sweat thing??

I don't wear that style anymore  but have a lovely pair of deerskin Italian gloves. There is actually a practical reason in that my knob can be pretty uncomfortable too use in freezing cold mornings so find them a must, of course I could stick to a leather one but love the Schnitzer solid alu :)

Just wished my seat reclined as fast as the Capris
