Serious comment on this, not sure if it's much help though.

When I bought a used E46 in 04 the dealer found what he thought was a suitable car. I said no go as it had no leather. So they, via a local company, had the whole interior changed, including the door panels.

The point is, there must be companies who can supply and fit what you want at a reasonable price. if you're on good terms with your local dealer, it could be worth having a chat.
