So glad this didn’t end the way it might have done. We hit a pothole a few weeks ago which destroyed a tyre and we thought that was bad enough. What really bugs me is the attitude of local authorities. Their one thought is to avoid paying for the damage their negligence has caused. There is no sympathy for the injured party. Hopefully your son will make a complete recovery.
:D

Sounds like you need Chocolate.
You are right. The problem is we already eat too much chocolate.😀
who says? Is that possible?

The story has a good outcome but the message is it’s safer on a road, in a car, with or without potholes.

These are the nightmares parents have, relieved that he’s okay and I hope he makes a full recovery, It’s a well known fact that chocolate is a miracle cure for any ailment

I am so glad things have worked out. Cycling is a great activity if it can be done safely. Sadly with the terrible condition of many roads and the high volume of traffic this is rarely the case. If we we want to encourage cycling we need to provide an environment where it is safe to do so.
