For The Love of Cars, Ch4 8pm

Watched all of these. The only thing I wish they would do is tell you how much the restoration cost and how much they sell for.

I think the final episode is at the auctions.

Hope its better than Bernies effort with a Delorian last week!

The Mexico has a guide price of 13-15k and the DeLorean has a guide of 18-22k which is less than they paid for the car at 23k, never mind the restoration costs.

Auction was held by Coys and the info can be found on piston heads ads

Sorry guys. Strange thing is that the adverts for the cars are still on Piston Heads but the auction was held in March. I do wonder if they had actually waited until all the cars had been shown on tv then auctioned if they possibly could have got a better price?

It's not listed what sold and for how much, I assume to keep the public guessing.

Haven't managed to see them all - interesting stuff though

Missed the Mexico one - would have loved to see that one ( nostalgic)

Looking forward to the auction

I like this series & it looked like the restorations had been top-notch, I gave up with the mouthy Bernie programmes some time ago, all a bit too completely staged.

I can even get my wife to watch these, although I suspect her interest is more from a Philip Glenister perspective
