for sale due to having a new baby, my z4m coupe it has been my pride and joy for the last 18 months, was due to sell it before my baby was born but disaster struck and my engine had a conrod bearing failure, this has cost me a small fortune to resolve with receipts of 6k, mileage is 74k, the engine is now running perfect and I am running it in under 4k revs, great car will add more pictures for anyone interested, it needs to be sold within 6 months as I will be bringing my little boy to work and the car is not suitable to take him, im looking for offers around 17k
it has also had new discs and pads all round and the inspection 2 service, for now I am only listing it here as I love it so much I don't really want to see it go

sapphire black, red leather heated seats, engine rebuild carried out at promotive bmw specialists in Newport, service book stamped at 927,9233,44502,67750,73581

Bit light on details, pics etc ...

Suggest you list the service history, more pics of the inside, options and so on.

Oh - and clean the exhausts :poke:

Your gonna have to do a lot better than that if you want 17k for it, put some effort in chap

where can I find the options it has? what do you use for the exhausts last time I did it, it took me nearly two hours they were sparkling then a few weeks latter they were dirty again

Agreed on all the above, price also seems up there given the mileage, despite the fact its had all the recent work.

Would also want to know who/where the work was done. Unless its a well known dealer/indy then i could limit your prospective buyers.

Either way good luck with your sale :)

cheers its due a full valet if it ever stops raining so hopefully they will do it if not drill it is, did you custom make the bit?

Good luck, obviously with the engine work, this would be one of the better 70k+ examples around (at least mechancially), even so £17k may be pushing it somewhat.

As stated, get some decent information in the advert (service history, where was the engine work carried out, get BMW to run a health check and post details of tyre tread depth etc.) and get some better photos (perhaps with a bit more effort with the numberplate shading  )

I think you are missing a service between 9k and 44k. Well, I hope you are missing the stamp - not the service.

just had the wheels refurbed currently confirming the service for the missing stamp in book, will post more pics after its been detailed, open to offers as have ordered a t6 so needs to be gone or will need to garage and sorn it, pdc, folding mirrors, sat nave updated for specs, think only one it doesn't have is cruise

Info on the service history is important with these cars, so get that missing service info sorted asap. Should help potential buyers come forward.

To be honest I'd get the detail- valet as soon as possible that interior does not look very inspiring at the moment - I suggest you get the detail done and relaunch the sale .

bloody hell there aint half some picky people on here, its a z4 not a bloody veyron! Its got a pretty clean looking interior to me, OK so the drivers mat isn't fresh out the show room so what ! its a drivers car made to be driven! GLWTS OP- it looks a decent advert to me, better than some shite you get on ebay/autotrader.

I think the issue here is more that the owner is asking premium money for a car with that mileage, so it would have to be absolutely mint if he expects to get it and people are right to be picky.
