Did this fit straight on? Was any tweaking required, I’m sure I read that that gator is attached to the existing one. If so what did you need to do?

No its sold Im afraid, fairly straight forward to fit, unclip the base of the gator off, pull of the gear knob complete with the gator then change them over
I liked the weight of it but it was cold in the winter and got very hot in the summer!!!!

The cold thing would be the issue for me as when it’s cold up here, it’s bloody cold.

It did kind of put me off refitting it to my next car, lovely feel but decided to stick with the std one in the end
