hi guys, im selling my sterling grey hard top. i have the oem storage bag and a 3rd party stand i bought to store it.

i dont have any of the trim pieces or extras, just the hard top, bag, stand and allen key to secure it. will post some pics soon asking £850 cash on collection.

there is a small scratch on it im but having a quote to have it repaired this week, but if the buyer wants to do this themselves im happy to lower the price a bit. the £850 is with the scratch repaired.

if there is anything you want to ask feel free to post or drop me a pm.

I could be interested but am not familiar with the 'trim pieces and extras' you mention, what are they please?

also any chance of a pic' including the scratch?

the trim parts are a piece of trim you clip onto the interior to cover where the hard top joins the car. i didn't get them when i bought the hard top and to be honest it never bothered me enough to get a quote from bmw. ive seen mentioned on other posts "2 plastic protectors for storage, 2 washers for boot openning mechanism to prevent boot lid hitting glass during opening" dont know what the storage protectors are and ive had no issue with the boot ever getting close to the glass.

here are pics of the scratch, found a second rub on an edge too . scratch is about 2cm high. rub is about 1cm high.

TBH there aren't any extras I'm aware of, you've got it all except the two trim pieces which are about a tenner from the dealer. Fair price with the stand as well, even taking into account the very minor paint rectification. Good luck with it.

Ewazix, here is a picture of the inside of the hardtop with the trim piece missing, it simply hides the locks! I double check with the dealers first as my hardtop came without them and no dealership stocked them anymore

I bought a pair a year ago from Oxford BMW????

Yes, I was under the impression that german car manufacturers had to stock parts for ten years after a model has been decommissioned

Last November I sold my hardtop and could only get hold of one of these covers via my Main dealer! Worth a quick call prior to purchase me thinks.
