What bit is the French fry? I would like to get rid of the orange hockey stick but dunno how to take a light apart...something to do with baking it?? :S

Nah baking it won't help as the glue doesn't melt on these. You can open them and reuse both the lense and the casing but you have to cut the top lip of the casing off where the lense meets it to cut the glue out. No big deal.

Re-assembly is the easy part! You just run a bead of silicone or tigerseal or similar around the channel. Pop the lense on and put some masking tape round it to hold it in until it dries.
 
£50 for both headlights? Or each?
Do they have black inners or chrome?
Have they been cut open or are they untouched?
Halogen or xenon?

One of my headlights has a slight chip on it, plus I'd prefer switching to black inners.

I could be interested in the headlights, if they are complete with chrome reflector and as good as you say they are. Is it £50 for the pair?

I read it as it's rear lights for sale not headlights...
The discussion has drifted to how to open headlights.

A pair of any type of headlights would be worth £200+
