Hi Mr Wilks,

My last post on this thread wast to thank those that made supportive comments and whilst I accept that there are bigger issues I do not see any reason to condone / defend the fact that the OP chose to sell via the forum but to disregard the forum rules.

I chose to follow the rules and responded on the thread, rather than by PM which the OP had requested, solely because I wanted to abide by the selling/buying rules, (which do make a lot of sence). I declared my interest in purchasing at the full price and sent several PM's and an email to the OP over the next few days, all of which were ignored.

I have moved on and the smoke from my ears has eased. The reason for keep bashing this to death is that I believe it is important to highlight these issues so that others are made aware that there are selling rules and that the rogues are discouraged form ignoring them. I still feel that your comments read as either defence or indifference and that because of your high profile on the forum you are sending out the wrong message.

I will buy the baggage at another time / somewhere else, just not sure whether I should ride roughshot over forum rules/guidence in the future.

You are right Dave , rules should be adhered to , just very difficult to police
May actually be worth your while placing a Wanted ad for the bags ? Especially with so many 89ers going back to the 85
