Hi,

I have for sale a complete set of E89 interior trim panels in carbon fibre effect. I've changed mine to wood, so no longer need these.

They are obviously used but in good condition except the piece around the gear lever where an approximate 2cm piece of lacquer came away from an air freshener resting against it (see picture). I've not looked at how much this would be to rectify. I know this part alone is £345 plus vat from BMW as i enquired, but feel free to double check and get the price for the other parts.

I've no guide as to what i should sell these for, as they rarely come up for sale second hand (i've never seen them anyway), so i'd like £350 for them all (but will accept offers, or ideas as to their worth), that doesn't include postage by the way. I'm based in Leeds for collection or could meet up for an agreed petrol cost.

I managed to get all the panels fitted by German AutoCare in Pudsey for £120 including vat which was a great price i think.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Interesting that there is a bit of lacquer flaked off there as my wife had an air freshener looped around the gearstick for a few weeks and the lacquer has lifted in the same place.
Shocking price for a new part and there doesnt seem to be any used ones in perfect condition around.
Almost bought a full piano black set from Germany to replace it but its a bit too expensive.
Thinking about removing it and trying to get a painter to re-lacquer it.

That's exactly what happened with mine. Air freshener around the gearstick and yes, couldn't believe it when bmw told me how much, even less impressed when they said 4 hours to fit at 135 plus cat each hour. Amazing how I had it done by bmw technicians for 120! I'm sure it would be easily repairable by someone with a spray gun and some lacquer who knows what they're doing.

Surprised no one wants these but maybe I'm asking too much. I've honestly no idea how much they're worth so will consider all offers.

You are asking a lot but nowhere near what new parts cost.
The fact its slightly damaged probably puts people off.
I got pics from a breaker of one that they had, they wanted £125.
It was in worse condition than ours with chips and nicks all over it.
I think its been mentioned that its a tinted lacquer thats on these so spraying might be more difficult to get a good match.

Thanks. I honestly didn't know what to ask so thanks for your input.

Will reduce it and see if anyone's interested. £250 collected.

Still have these. Last bump before I put on eBay or keep and consider spraying piano black.

Open to sensible offers.
