What a car!!
Was looking for an E86 for ages and had my eye on the M car just in case one came up. Had I seen this a month or so ago !!
If you don’t mind me saying, I think you could get a few £ more for that car....

Lol thanks for that, Wigsters.

I am still in half a mind tbh. Normally a wife would want rid of cars like this, mine loves it lol.

I won’t be sad if it doesn’t sell either. It is an awesome and addictive car!

Nice car, can you clarify the “1 of 5070 built worldwide” part? There is by coincidence a 1006 Z4M roadster in Imola Red for sale in New Zealand, UK spec. Thanks and GLWTS

No problems, I didn’t mean mine is the No 1 of 5070, just that it’s one of the 5070 worldwide Imolas. There is a register online somewhere which lists the numbers according to spec. Will post if I find the link.... and thanks

All good thanks, perhaps I’ve lived in New Zealand for too long and started to read things differently, can’t be too many right hand drive Imola Red ones though. Lovely looking car. Thanks

Agree Mr Wilks, priced very well. The one for sale here has done 16,000 miles and asking 24,000 pounds. Time to come back to UK .......

Thanks Hopz121.

Note: You are saying these things to a ‘very reluctant’ seller... :(

It looks like a nice example and priced well.

Is it FSH? And all according to book...?

Does it have cup holders? And I assume the wind deflector is in the boot?

And does it have the original silver grills fitted, or are they now black as per AT pictures?

Lastly, random one. But I noticed that BMW did a retrofit kit for front air-bag deactivation. And you have the fairly common centre console piece (brushed aluminium), so easy to find one with the hole.
Are these still a thing? Easy to do?

Cheers

Dave

Hi Dave,

Yes, FSH All in book.
Yes cup holders
Always kept the silver grills (in fact I will put them back as you’ve asked about it).
Yes wind deflector which is a must.

I don’t really know much about the retrofit kit or centre console but this is fairly diy if you wanted to change it yourself. There are steps here on the forums even.

Thanks

Andy

Thanks for the reply Andy.

It's a very nice car/price imo.

I've been thinking on and off about an MR. It's likely I won't be ready to buy one (if a local test drive makes me want one) until spring time in any case... but it's good to get looking early on these kinds of cars as they can easily disappear into a garage till that time of year any way!

All the best

Dave

Sure, thanks for the interest. It would be a shame when it goes, I can tell you!

P.S. You test drive a good one, you will want one!
