For sale - BMW z4 3.0si - 76K miles - £6250 - SOLD

Underselling that imo by at least £1k :o seriously mate if no forum guy snaps this up then list it elsewhere for £7250 & you will sell it for £7k no trouble at all

Thanks for your comments, I hope you're right :) I priced it to reflect the fact I would like it gone at quite a specific time, it probably has a couple more owners than some may like and doesn't have all the options, so deemed it a fair price as I'd rather not have to trade it in.

I don't think numbers of owners is hugely important? Especially with convertibles and sports cars as there are people who will buy a car for just a summer season and then sell it again come winter. So, raw ownership numbers tend to be higher.

I will echo what the others have said - that price is low, particularly at this time of year. Could be a great buy for someone

Work:
It has been under BMW mondial warranty for the last 2 years (£42pcm) and had the following done:

New cylinder head to solve occasional HVA tapping issue from start, carried out by Sytner Sheffield in May 2016. Hasn’t missed a beat since and runs perfectly. Oil was also changed at this point.
New DMF and clutch to solve early signs of DMF failure (rattle), carried out by Sytner Sheffield in November 2016. So new clutch bonus!
New Alternator to solve pulley noise, carried out by Sytner Sheffield in November 2016
Outside my ownership the roof motor was replaced in 2013 (receipt)

I believe the above covers some of the more expensive items that people may face in ownership so it’s pretty well future proofed.

Condition:
Generally very good, body work/paint is all good, roof is fine and works perfectly (I do clean the drain bungs out with brush pipes)
Points of note so potential buyers aware:
Minor stone chips to the front and splitter
1 or 2 very minor dings on the driver’s side door area (you won’t find them unless I point them out)
Minor scratch to nearside rear alloy (annoyingly), all others perfect
Some wear around the steering wheel soft touch controls
Seats are in good condition (pics shown)

Ownership:
Purchased in October 2014 from the forum @57K miles as a daily car
Spent 2 years of its life in an underground car park, is now parked in an outside parking space since Oct 2016
Reason for sale is I’ve ordered an automatic car (city living/commuting) with more seats; this arrives around the 25th of March so the zed is available any time around or after then, I’m flexible.

The car is in great nick for a 10 year old car in general. I’m sure it will give its new owner great, hassle free enjoyment for the summer ahead.

(Please note the private plate will be removed, in process now)

Any questions or if I’ve missed anything then please give me a pm – thanks, Ross
Edit: I work near Mexborough for weekday lunchtime viewings if that helps anyone, otherwise weekend viewings in Sheffield

I've just PM'd you! Really interested would be able to view it tomorrow whatever time is convenient.

That didn't hang around long - Mind you given the price..

Nice to see newbies not only coming on to sell their cars, but also to buy cars too, and hopefully sticking around?

Mike

Hopefully he says on the forum.

Buyers got a good car and price, I've had the convenience of a quick sale, beaten what I'd get in trade value and we've both agreed for me to hold onto it till around the time the new one comes, also giving the buyer time to sell his current car. Pluses on both sides so everyone's happy.

Yes I'll be staying on the forum - seem a friendly bunch . Really happy with my purchase, we both got what we wanted and Ross was a pleasure to do business with so all good! :)
