Think you need the temp/sunlight sensor too, not sure if the wiring is there or not. We only get the auto air con in the UK.Shooter said:I think i already asked this, but is this control unit "enough" to transform a manual air con into an automatic air con ?
Yup, got facelift controls off ebay. Fitted them yesterday.chris said:Have you updated to the facelift controls then? Saw a set on ebay a while ago, but did not bother just yet.

The unit does come apart, but I'm not sure how easy it would be to swap the electronics over. It's the back part that comes off.iMcanadian said:ryukin, I apologize in advance for highjacking your thread, but does anyone know if the above unit can be taken apart and mated to an existing unit? I have a US-spec MR with a Fahrenheit overlay on the control unit. We use the Celsius scale in Canada and I'd like to change mine to Celsius, without a great deal of effort....if possible, just a dial overlay change, but I am not sure what my options are. Any advice is appreciated, and sorry again ryukin!
BTW, would love to see what the facelift controls look like installed!
That is literally the only difference. Brushed metal dials with rubber surrounds. Although the orange back lighting is better on the pre-facelift one. Seems a bit pale on the facelift controls.chris said:Knobs are better on the facelift versions![]()
I just checked the Royal Mail website and it says it would cost £8.60 to post to France. So I'd be happy to sell it for £40 as I included a bit for uk postage in the £35 price.Shooter said:I guess someone has to be a guinea pig...
How much would you be willing to sell it and sending it to France ?
