Other than the remap did you do the rest of the mods yourself. What size tyres are you running and what are the depths. Who is the service history with.

Boyo,
The exhaust, decat pipe and brake kit were all fitted by the garage I use. Brake fluid change was done when brake kit was fitted
The Msport body parts the front grilles and rear valance/diffuser were fitted by myself which were quite easy to do.
The wheels and tyres have been on the car since July 2019 so have only covered 4K miles so plenty of tread
Rears 255/30ZR19
Fronts 225/35/ZR19
First two services BMW Main Dealers
Next three Independent garages
Last service by garage I have been using for 25yrs and the guy who does the work a BMW enthusiast who owns a rare 1986 M6 and a 1991 M5 so knows his stuff,he did say though Z4s are for hairdressers 😂
I do have the original exhaust, cat and brakes for the car however the pile of crap 326 alloys were cracked so were disposed of.

Thanks Boltz. Is the next service May this year and if so is it oil, filters, plugs etc. Also, realistically how loud is the exhaust and is there any cabin drone.

It will be oil and filter and air filter, car has only done a couple of thousand miles since last service and that’s when the plugs and brake fluid were changed. No drone from the exhaust and you can hear the turbo spooling up nicely as decatted. The exhaust is not loud and sounds great. You are more than welcome to come and have look as there isn’t exactly a queue waiting to see it. 😀

Right folks here we go, it seems to me that the decat is the showstopper with my car so I am going to offer my car for £10,600 no offers. This will then give nearly £900 towards a sports cat which means you keep the power gains and you will get it through an Mot, I spoke to Will at Performance Torque who confirmed map is good to go with a sports cat, this is for forum members only. My Zed is a steal at this price and you are getting a stunning car so come and get it, you will not be disappointed!!! The original cat will be supplied with the car.

You need to change the price in the first post - people might not read this far?

Also unless my maths has failed me it's nearly £900?

GLWTS..I'm having my 200 cell sports cat fitted tomorrow, so will advise on that

I guess going back to the OE cat is the other option, given how little, by turbo standards. extra it gives? :tumbleweed:

I hadn’t spotted the 282 on the car before. That is the coolest cool thing and sooo discreet.

This looks like a tremendous bargain. Good luck with the sale.

Id have bought this car despite it not being my color combo choice on sheer value/condition if it had come up six months ago when i bought mine.. totally flabbergasted this hasn't sold yet

I am amazed aswell. I was sorely tempted and although I have since bought another zed I keep looking at this car and admiring it. All you need is to get one punter to physically see the car and I bet they buy it. GLWTS

Same, I purchased mine in Nov and even though I didn't want black I would have bought this one for certain, stunned it is not sold :(

Looks like I may have some potential buyers coming to view the car this weekend, nobody has come to see it as of yet!!!! For the Forum members who have either sold or purchased a car how were payments made better cash or bank transfer?

Bank transfer is safest all round, just make sure it lands in your account before they leave, some drop in straight away.. Others have took upto 45 minutes

Would always have said cash but now I’d say bank transfer.

The money is guaranteed when it hits your account and is also proof of origin of the money and the date and time of sale. Does away with any worry about genuine notes too.

I know maybe not so easy given they’ve still to see the car but I’ve asked people coming to look at a car to send me £1 electronically as it sets you up as a payee with their bank in advance and does away with a lot of faff and security checks run by some banks if they decide to take the car. Also in my experience it seems to make the proper transfer at the time much quicker

Just be wary of mobile (online) banking payments when they are at yours at the weekend. I had this a few years back with a motorbike. Chap travelled a long way on a Sunday to view/ buy/ collect. He tried to transfer (BACS) the money on his phone but the system didn't work because it was a Sunday (don't know if it's changed since 2018).
I had to phone my bank, he phoned his, and it didn't get sorted till the next day.
Good luck though
