For Sale: 2007 Z4C 3.0si Carbon Black

Hi everyone, this is my Z4 Coupe that I am reluctantly putting up for sale due to a new member of the family arriving and a change of priorities (YAWN). I managed to hang on for 8 months but really its not a great family-mobile (have you seen how much stuff babies need??!).

Anyway, enough about my life - more about the car:

Its a 2007 3.0si Coupe (registered early 2007 so its a '56' plate).

Carbon Black Metallic paint - beautiful colour, essentially black metallic with dark blue flecks.
Red leather interior - seats electric but not heated. Aluminium dash.
Leather 'M' steering wheel.
Automatic Xenon headlights.
Bluetooth prep.
Hill start assist - I initially scoffed at needing this but its brilliant.
Auto wipers - fitted with Silicon wiper blades (cost £50 a pair but awesome performance and actually fit the curve of the windscreen).
18" MV2 alloys (starting to look a bit scabby round the edges, polish up ok tho, brand new non-runflat tyres 500 miles ago).
3 owners including me - (Lady, business MD, me).
Pretty much a full history looking through, lots spent, part BMW, part Indy. I did the last service myself using BMW parts/recommended Castrol oil as I couldn't find a garage I particularly trusted (I'm an aerospace Hydraulics engineer so standards are high).

Drives lovely. Mileage is 113500 and it hasnt used a drop of oil in the last 10,000 miles. These engines like to be used. I've used it for commuting 80 miles a day on the basis that if you have to drive a distance to work it might as well be an enjoyable experience and indeed somedays its the best part of my day.

Erm, MOT till August 2015, in my ownership ive replaced one of the VANOS solenoids as it was sticky and have serviced it as mentioned (5000 miles ish till next one). Air con regassed at last MOT also so that should be good for a few years.

Its got a stubby aerial fitted, original one is here too. There are two keys.

Used daily (lifes too short) so its got a few chips on the leading edge of the bonnet as you might expect given the mileage and age. Mileage is almost all motorway (previous owner used it to drive Bristol to Brighton). Never smoked in. Regularly wash/waxed and leather-cared. Never garage-washed.

Price wise I think I'm looking for £8000 but Ill listen to offers around that.

Not sure what else to say. Feel free to ask questions on anything I might have missed.

Al

That's wearing its 113500 miles very well. A very nice looking coupe. Good luck with your sale buddy.

Cheers Stug. Itt only gets used for an early morning commute through the Cotswolds so not much traffic and company parking area so no car park dinging.

A weekend bump for the baron & surely at that ££ the Coupe buy of the year :?
im having to have a word with myself to not jump in :o
Anyone not planning to stoke big miles up should have their cash safe as one of TitanTims isas in this one

I agree Mr Wilks, it's a great price. I think the hurdle is the 100,000 mile stigma . We all know these engines will do twice that amount if serviced. But it still holds back buyers.

Yep agreed but price now more than reflects that  ive dabbled with BMs & Audis around 90k/110k for the last few years & have either managed to get my money back a year later (Ok PVR maybe sometimes less  ) or even make a few hundred on what i paid , as i said if you want a weekend motor to add maybe 2-3k a year then the baron's Zc should serve you well & with very very little depreciation in its value
We all know if you knocked 25k off it then you could add £1500 to it , , just figures , doesn't really affect the car itself

Nail on the head Mr Wilks, thanks for the kind comments everyone.

Engine is lovely, most of the miles have been covered in six gear at 3000 rpm so arguably its got far less wear than say a 60k 'London' car which is covering stop start short journeys.

The market gets compressed at this level. A nice z4c with under 60k can be picked up for under £10k now. I'd rather have the best maintained and best conditioned car in any case but nearly half the mileage for only a couple of thousand more is always going to give pause for thought.

Dirt on the sill will be gone I promise! Car is still in daily use.

Thanks

Lot of car little money , mileage irrelevant at that price as its clearly factored in .
New buyer should be chuffed
