Hi everyone,
I'm putting up for sale my beloved zed after only 12 months of ownership. Reason for the sale is the car isn't really getting the use it deserves and need to free up money from it to put into something newer.
Hopefully my advert will come across very genuine and I'm going to try and be very transparent with the bits and pieces needed doing on the car. I also feel the price I'm asking is reasonable in the current market and for the car in it's condition.
So, it's a 2006 3.0litre si.
The car comes as standard with the following:
M Sport multi-functional steering wheel
M Sport suspension
M Sport Heated leather seats with memory positioning
Sat Nav
Sport button
Single disk CD player
Rain sensor activated windscreen wipers
Headlight washers
Parking sensors
Split rim 108 18" alloys
In addition to this, I have also added the following mods:
MM exhaust tips
MM back box exhaust bypass
V1 Stormworks gear knob, titanium plated (£89 new) (OEM still available)
Recently painted brake callipers and wheel hubs in silver
Sound generator mod with both foam pieces removed
Also included in the sale is:
Fully waterproof and breathable outdoor car cover (less than 6 months old) - retail at £170 new
Brand new Eiback suspension springs, still in the box - retail at £125 new
OEM centre wheel caps - retail at £40 new
During my ownership, I have had the rear suspension springs replaced with OEM parts, this was done mid January this year
At the same time, both rear discs and pads were replaced and leaking headlight washers were repaired.
The MOT was renewed in January this year, which it flew through with no advisories.
Servicing:
Pre-delivery check - 20/09/06
Oil service - 16/10/07 17719
Inspection 1 - 09/10/09 39089
Oil service - 30/01/12 54247
Inspection 2 - 04/05/13 70954
The next oil service is due in 700 miles, this will be done before sale and I'm also having the brake fluid changed at the same time.
As before mentioned, I'm trying to be totally transparent with this sale, with this in mind, I'm going to list what the car needs doing to it to make it 100% perfect:
The split rim alloys are in need of a refurb. They have a couple of curbing marks and the lacquer is peeling in several spots.
The fog lights have suffered to the known fault of condensation build up.
The front bumper is needing a re-spray and does have a very small section of paint peeling under the drivers side fog light.
There is one small dent and scratch above the rear wheel arch on the drivers side.
Other than the above points, the car is spotless. Once cleaned and waxed, it comes up a treat and really looks superb.
I've given this car the best care and attention I can. Cleaned meticulously once a month or more regularly if needed. Even detailing the engine bay on every wash.
When the car has been in the garage for previous work, I've had compliments from mechanics on how clean the car is. They tell me it looks as though it's never been out in wet weather as the underneath is so clean. This tells me the previous 5 owners were as careful with the car as I am.
I'll finish with some pictures of the car below.
I'm asking £7,650 for it, which I think is fair for what is a great car. It's booked in for the oil service in a couple of weeks, so won't be looking to get rid of it until at least the end of May. The mileage will be slightly increasing in that time as it's used on most weekends. Any questions or interest, please PM me or call me on 07850138039.
Many thanks,
Steve.
