I am reluctantly selling my Sapphire Black zed due to a baby on the way!
Having bought it from a forum member (in bonny Scotland!), I wanted to first offer it up on here for sale as I’d like it to go to a good home. I have owned the car since August 2010 and have loved every minute of it!
The car is in a very good condition for its age and has been well-looked after by all previous owners (I am the 3rd owner). The car needs to be seen to be appreciated. It has a low mileage, currently at 64,888.
The mileage is genuine (I had it HPI checked when I bought it) and is low due to the first owner only using it to travel from London to the North on weekends. The second owner also only used it as a second car.
The car is a high spec, hence why I travelled over 500 miles to buy it! There are approximately £4395 worth of additional extras on the car, including:
- Cruise control
- Automatic Xenon lights
- Extended storage
- Heated seats
- Professional sat nav
- Wind deflector
- Integrated Bluetooth
- 6 disk CD changer
- 18 inch 108 alloys
As well as this, it has the standard features of a 3.0i SE, including:
- Full dream red Oregon leather electric seats with memory (lovely combination with the Sapphire Black paintwork)
- Electric roof
- Driver & passenger air bags
- Alarm & immobiliser
- Automatic wipers
- Power Assisted Steering
- Traction control
- Electric windows
- Electric folding wing mirrors
- Automatic dimming rear mirror
- Air conditioning
- ABS
- Sports suspension
- Sports button
The car last had an oil service at a BMW Independent Specialist at 58,782 miles. There is currently 8700 left on the mileage counter until the next service is due. All services have either been carried out by main BMW dealerships or a BMW Independent Specialist (last one). I had the Inspection 2 service done at 44,000 miles.
All 4 tyres have recently been changed (Bridgestone RE050 Potenza's) so there is plenty of tread left. All 6 ignition coils have also recently been changed, as have the spark plugs, the anti-roll bar & a rear spring. Since I have had the car, the brake pipes have all been replaced.
The MOT runs until January 2014 and there were no advisories on the last one. The tax runs until the end of June 2013. However, I am willing to put an extra 6 months tax on it for free.
Everything is in good working order, including the electric hood.
The alloys do have some corrosion, but are not kerbed. I had them refurbished about 2 years ago. Unfortunately, this is a common issue with the 108s but in my opinion these are the best looking alloys on the zeds! There is also a very small hole in the wind deflector.
The private plate is not included in the asking price and will be retained/transferred upon a sale being made.
I am looking for £6250 OVNO. No timewasters please. I am open to reasonable offers.
