For Originality Lovers !

No wear as such in the usual drivers' seat bolster- I put black cream polish on the very spot to avoid any wear - remiss of me to allow the dust to settle on the seats - but just to avoid a further reduction of points I've nipped out to the garage and dusted off the seats taking particular care on the top bits that the camera shot made look like wear.

Now turning to the exhaust pipes - not guilty M'lud they are original - I did have some MM's ones fitted but in the end preferred the original look !

Ah ok, have to agree on the original pipes as I was a fan of those (pre facelift) ones as well. Never been keen on the facelift exhaust pipes.

Re the seats - you know the drill, pictures or it did not happen :poke:

Well I do have a older pic taken in June which perhaps gives a better view of the seats minus so much dust - doesn't show the bolster but you will have to take my word for that :)

Just as an aside - weather forecast crap for the rest of this month so SORN'd on 19th Oct online - received cheque for balance of road tax 23 Oct !!!!!!!!!!! Can't complain of that service :)

I sorned the Golf as well, no cheque to be seen as of yet ....

As you have to pay the whole month, I guess if I wanted to I could still drive it to the end of the month?

Who do you insure your Golf with ? Our camper insurance is up for renewal - we've been with HIC for the 9 years we've had it - usually pay around £160 - classic ( no accrual of NCB ) comprehensive - an extra £15 for Agreed Valuation of £5500 - has been this figure also for 9 years !
Ironically about twice what my zed's worth now - lol
