Font plate mount options

Recently picked up an M roadster, it's got holes in the front bumper cover but I want to repair them. I do have to run a front plate though, Virginia USA.

I don't really prefer using the tow hook/eye mount, never really liked the look of the offset plate. The car has great symmetry, I don't like messing that up with the offset plate.

On my M coupe, I have this bracket that is an undermount on the horizontal part above the lower grille. It does screw in, but they go in from the underside so when it's off, you can't tell at all. I cannot for the life of me remember where I got it and I can't find anything similar. Maybe it went out of production, I'm sure I got it a decade ago.

Anyone know of any similar front plate mounts/brackets?

I used polished countersunk stainless screws to fill the holes on mine. I don't have to run a front plate.

I did the same on prior car using this, but didn’t even drill. Used rare earth magnets

Interesting. Hadn't seen that one, thanks for the link. That's the idea. I'll have to look into some strong magnets. I had thought about that before, maybe I revisit the idea.
