Fone issue

While driving today I got a call via Bluetooth from some spam caller so I didn't answer it. Normally my fone kicks into answer service after about 8 rings but it didn't and kept ringing through the cars stereo system. I manually hung up on my iPhone but the stereo kept rining with the callers number showing. I tried the steering wheel controls to hang up, none of the head units controls worked, couldn't even switch the stereo off and the damn thing kept rining. I pulled over, switched the engine off and took the key out but it kept ringing. Eventually I physically switched my fone off which worked and I had to reset my iPod ( connected via usb) before it would work again.

All very strange, anyone had a similar issue?

Yeh, that's kind of what I thought but don't understand why the effin stereo was still active with the ignition off. Hey, ho hopefully it won't happen again.

Because even if you stop the car and your mid call the car will use the battery to keep the conversation going unless you lock the car with the key when it basically kills the power.

So if you hadn't done that or got out the car it thought you were still using the phone via the car.

Ah, now that makes sense. Thanks Angie :)

There is some logic to it but it can be a pain when you get a call just as you've parked up and are leaving the car before locking and it jumps onto the stereo and you are left wondering why you can hear them through the handset.
