Folding top covers anyone?

IIRC Marius got these from BMW on eBay and sprayed them black. He only paid £35 though :?
 
That's right, you can spray them in any colour you like and they are £35 only

Got these in black really finish the car off when the hood is down. And stops leaves and muck going down there..... bit of a pain on a variable weather day tho!

if you want them in black, just wait a bit - they come up every fairly often and the factory black ones will always look better than painted ones

you need to take them off, if not when you raise the roof they will fall onto the road

I only use mine for (sunny) holiday roadtrips, otherwise they are just too much hassle for day to day use
 
Sold mine - they were a pita. Fit them on drive a bit. Forget they are on. Rip them off when the roof closes. Repair the locking mechanism and repeat the process... :thumbsdown:
 
For all the hassle they represent, the Z with those covers on still looks SO MUCH BETTER! That being said, I simply wouldn't use them if my car was a daily driver. But it isn't, so I'll keep using them for as long as I own her :D
