Folding mirrors with key stopped

Hi All

My folding mirrors using key fob has stopped working.

Works fine with the button inside the car so not mechanical

Which modules do I need to check using ncsexpert for the setting ?

Comfort access is switched on in the idrive menu

Does the car have a SmartTop? Sometimes they lose their settings and revert to default which iirc doesn’t fold the mirrors regardless of what is set in the car menus.

There are several systems that interact with folding mirrors..battery health, comfort access aerials / ECU are amongst many..key fob battery health..

Have you tried standing right next to the drivers door and holding the close down for several seconds and do a recycling of full lock , full unlock?

Yes tried the standing close to door, unit does have a unit not smart top but alternative will have to check the settings on that too
