Folding mirrors via Smarttop module

Hi all.

Id like to add various features to a 2013 sdrive 18i. The features I would like to add would be the one touch roof opening/closing and roof opening/closing whilst moving option via a smarttop module. I would also like to add folding mirrors to the car but I was wondering, for the folding mirrors, apart from buying the mirrors and the door switch, is there much modification required or hardware needed if I just bought the STLFBW3 smarttop module?

Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

No idea regarding the folding mirrors
 
The smarttop can be programmed to fold the mirrors, no need for any modification, although mine work with factory fit folding mirrors,
 
Hi Cropperlaa,

As I understand it, if you do not have the folding mirrors as a factory fit, to retrofit them is not that straightforward as the wiring is most probably not there for them.

Mine came with folding mirrors so this is just based on research I have done about the smart top, which I have fitted and is great.
 
Thanks for the feedback, Im gunna have to do some serious research. Mine is an m sport model, or are all s-drives m sport models? Sorry for the silly question
