Folding mirror module location?

Does anyone know where the folding mirror module sits on the E85?

Not sure what you mean by 'module'. The individual windows are self powered and activated by the arm rest switch on the drivers side so not sure there will be a module controlling this as an individual element but as part of the overall set up within the car.

Def a module for it as I looked into folding mirrors some time back.
I had it in mind that it was located in the drivers footwell above the speaker, but not near to my TIS information to look it up.

Normally the module is on the passenger side behind the passenger air bag module

Cheers for both links, Terry - still struggling to find it but my Indy feels they can follow those links to either find the wiring present or install the necessary wiring.

I found some posts on a German language forum where a guy took his dashboard out to repair the aircon.... I saw the positions of module boxes during the disassembly, and recognised the folding mirror module. Admittedly, that was a LHD car, but looking at relative positions of modules and wires on a RHD car I was able to locate what I assume is the proper fixing position.



With the glovebox removed, I dropped the main body control module from its fixing and was able to mount the mirror module.

Next step is to add the wiring loom which I am still in the process of researching.

I was completely stumped about where this module should go, so hopefully this helps someone else
