Nice work Andy. Cross your fingers these dont get moist too :D

Didnt think that it would be that easy doing it this way but youve proved that it is

Wow - that's some moisture ingress there Andy. Did these have rubber seals initially, and if so, have they perished? Nice write up btw...

Cant seem to see any rubber on them mate?

Fixed.

Good luck with the new lights. Wonder why they keep misting up, is it because they don't get much use?

Any recommendations on where to get the replacement fogs from? I have the same problem and after seeing this post will replace them myself, just need a decent Autofactors or did you get them from a dealer?

You could try Jamie at Sopers in Lincoln (I think), they tend to give a good price to forum members on OEM parts. These aren't cheap though - IIRC they are about £130. Each

Great writeup

Mine were the original with my car.. Jan 2008, and when i removed them in March this year they were moisture free... and my car spends most its time outdoors :?

I bought mine from a forum member,as Bing says they are expensive for what they are from the stealers :(

Andy have yours stayed moisture free since you have done this? Mine don't look like they have corroded but they have moisture, so I was going to get them out. Dry them out, seal them again.
