one of my clusters at the front has fully fogged up, completely letting down the look of my hid's

can this be solved with a hairdryer and some patients? or have i got to fork out for a new cluster?

You'd better source a new back cover from the stealers. Treating the current one with silicone may also help. They are not expensive. If allowed to mist for some time, the dripping condensation can actually damage the OEM Xenon ballasts.

I just had the same issue, new cover was around a tenner, dry it out with a hair drier then cool everything down (I used an airline) fit new cover and bobs your uncle

I also had this quite recently. If the car is standing in a dry place, the fog will disappear automatically within a few hours.

I removed some dirt and used some grease on the rubbers of the cover. That did the trick just fine; it has been okay for more than three months now.

Be aware that the covers are a bit difficult to remove and put back on without removing the front wheel ...
