no error on the dash and fit in the hole. I also bought the 102 leds but they did not fit. I would have like more light output but this is the best I could fit in

Yep piece of piss m8. Wheel on full lock then 2p coin undo lower door in wheel arch twist out bulb and swap.
These CREE bulbs should be bright enough...

Mine are only 11w and are great for use as DRLs. Not much good in fog but then no white light is going to be. Or if you don't want to spend that much you can go for the cheap SMD type for a fiver a pair from China.

Can't be robbed for 7 quid but yes CREE LEDs are better than SMD.
Regarding legality I have no clue but I drive around with my side and fog LEDs on permanently as DRLs and have had no problems. I feel happier with a bit of light up front as the Zed is a low car and easily missed by people pulling out of junctions etc.
I think the LED fogs give a white distinctive light visible from a distance but not able to dazzle. In the dark they offer little for the driver I find. Definitely more for being seen by others rather than seeing the road yourself.
