Foam and polystyrene for under carpet

Does anyone know a good foam to use under the carpet. Part of mine was ripped out when it had a leak which has now all been sorted.

Under the passenger foot well their is also a thick piece polystyrene to pad out the carpet and the part at the very front is all still their towards the engine wall but the part towards the seat where your feet go has now all gone. I want to get it fitted out again but not sure where the best place is to get everything to achieve this and what the best stuff to use is?

For small quantities just look on ebay for upholstery foam. You should be able to find a range.

I've not looked under my carpet in my Z4, but do work in Automotive Carpets so would expect the polystrene / polypropylene moulding to be between 30g/l density and 90g/l. Again, have a look at upholstery foams on Ebay.

Cheers mate,

I'll have a look. Thought I would find a lot more out on the internet but it appears nobody else has had to replace the foam under the carpets? The piece under the footwell is a thick piece of polystyrene so just going to have to find somewhere that does all of this :D
