Quick update
I have noticed i only get the odd splutter when the engine is warm i turn the engine off for ten minutes or so restart it temp guage still shows hot drive off a quick splutter thats it :roll:

That doesn't sound right. When you say temp guage shows hot, do you mean its past the half way point on the guage and in the red?

After my Z4 has warmed up it never goes past the half way marker..

Switching it off for 10 minutes and leaving it isn't really a solution anyway is it? ;-)
