Floor mats? What options are available?

Hi all, seen a few photos of different floor mats and I want to upgrade as some look really nice.

What options are out there? Any links or brand names would be great!

Thanks all :fuelfire:

My OEM ones wore out - the drivers mat became dangerous as was curling up at the edges so I bought a set of these bargain basement ones until I can source a decent set of used OEM ones

These are probably a downgrade rather than the upgrade you are after

I just yesterday ordered a set of BMW M mats for my 2006 MR from Roadster Solutions, not cheap and shipping is ridiculous but they are pretty much the only ones that are decent. $ 150 USD I'll have them in a couple of weeks when Canada Customs gets finished wiping their feet on them.

I used Autostyle https://www.autostyle.co.uk/catalog2/index.php

Had them make me a longer drivers mat looks so much better but had to send a template.

I got mine from here:- https://www.carmatworld.co.uk/bmw-z4-alternative-template-tailored-car-mats-2003-present.html

I went for the super velour and had them edged, look very nice, but I have yet to find any aftermarket as good as oem. I go back to my mint condition oem during the summer months and just use these during the winter and have held up really well and hoover well.

The lightweight ones I would avoid as they wear out really quickly, go for something min 1000gm.

I like the look of these - fancy a red edged pair, good price too

I have never seen the point of heal pads made out of the same soft material as the mat, it is still going to wear out at the same rate as if it was just the mat material under your heal, and its not like you are going to keep a mat with a worn patch anyway. Also there is the potential of catching the ridge with your heal.

The OEM ones are really good. I got mine second hand, but nearly new, off eBay.

These are being advertised on here and look new and only £40:

I went for the rubber option  - couldn't face treading dirt off the drive into good carpets.

Did you take the plunge? If so, how do they look?

I was toying with the idea of the platinum range from here http://www.carmats2u.co.uk/bmw-z4-car-mats-2003-2008-2465-p.asp at over £100. Apparently the deepest pile you can get and plenty of options.

Instead I spent £65 at Autostyle.

I wish I thought of the idea of longer mats, just fitted my new ones yesterday and felt a bit disappointed with the ammount of ground they cover.

Didn't in the end - having recently bought a set of cheap mats thought I'd show some self restraint
