Floor mat replacement

Hi folks
The what i assume original floor mats are very dirty / worn on driver side, so i bought some new ebay specials, but driver one slides all over the show tsk.

Ive noticed the original ones have round velcro pads built in, to stop movement, so thinking, are they worth keeping / spending money, for someone to deepclean, or just cutting out the velcro pads, and superglueing to the new mats?

Dont want to be destroying, if they are valuable (got caught with mx5 mats in past).

Cheers. Tia

I don’t know what they are worth but my none M ones came up a treat when my wife went over them with the carpet cleaner.

Worth giving them a good clean. If they don't come up to scratch, then think about new ones. :)

You could have a look at these guys, https://www.cocomats.com/
It is a premium hand made product, they have the same Velco pads as the original and fit perfectly, no sliding around.
I bought a set and am very pleased with them.

Ooooo those are nice, but unfortunately way out of my money, with other bits needing done first, but thanks anyway. A bottle of Poundshop's finest carpet cleaner, a scrubbing brush, and a power hose has tidied my m sport ones quite nicely, so just need a little superglue to tidy up couple breaks on the outside edging, and they will be looking sweet for the spring. Poundshop also supplied a box of velcro pads, so will try those on the new ebay cheapie mats, to do me over the winter. :tumbleweed:
