Flashing other Z4's when driving!

I got flashed by a fellow Z4 driver coming in the opposite direction for the first time last week (his headlights thankfully, not his meat and two veg!). Do other people ever experience this? Kind of makes you feel like you are in a little cult or club :driving:

I returned the favour yesterday to a different Z4 but got no response :tumbleweed:

I can't believe the number of Z4 drivers that completely ignore me - I don't flash, but do wave - occasionally I will get a wave back :D
(not wishing to sound sexist, but if it's a girl driver forget it)

I wave as well and as I've just said in the "spotted" thread, for the first time in over 2 years of ownership I finally got a wave back!

I only do it to modified Zeds, much higher chance of getting a wave back, seeing as they are 'into' their cars.

Will have to get mine slammed then to get a wave

All this waving to each other takes me back to a time when the RAC or AA man would salute their respective members. The Forum Sticker should always engender an acknowledgement :driving:

So thats where I've been going wrong!

I have always found that the instant when I recognise a zed coming the other way there is scarcely enough time to react with a flash. On the occasions when I have done it I didn't get any response.

Anyway I'm zedless now, I don't think 4 series drivers flash at all.

Those were the days. I remember when the AA patrol man would salute a member when he had a badge displayed on the front of his car unless there was a police speed trap ahead and then he wouldn't acknowledge you indicating that there was something amiss
