A friend of mine has a 330 coupe clubsport with split rims and he has spent the last 5 years or so having his regularly sorted out at great expense!! He's very VERY anal about his car even more so than me
so when I suggested he remove all the lacquer and polish the edges as described by a couple of peps on here, and he went for it I was slightly worried I'd recommended it so it would be my fault if it went wrong
He spent a fair bit of money on materials, and I had to listen to him complaining for days about his sore fingers
but the results were amazing 8) I would suggest the process to anyone who's totally fed up with their scabby looking split rims. A really really nice result, and should last with a little bit of TLC.
