Looking to drop my car cause the gap is making me sad inside. I saw another user on here selling a set of 40mm springs (which I cannot find anywhere online) but I was too late so I looked in to other FK springs and saw that they are currently on sale for 50 euros from 85. Anyone got them and or/recommend them? These are the springs: https://www.fk-shop.de/en/Tuning/Suspension-Tuning/Lowering-springs/Lowering-Springs-BMW-Z4-Z85-only-Cabrio-Fr-Bk-ca-30-mm.html?listtype=search&searchparam=bmw%20z4

Cheers!

Personally when i fitted them to my car i hatted the ride. Not sure if my shocks where knackered or just the spring rate didn’t match the shocks. But i couldn’t wait to get rid of them.

But I guess it comes down to what you want from your car. If it’s a show pony it will be ok. If you actually enjoy driving the car I would spend the extra and get a proper matched set up.

I put them in my Z4 years ago. They were £29 back then.

The ride wasn't too bad really, but they drop the car quite a lot, which makes driving over speedboats difficult.

Worth it if you just want to drop the ride height for looks.

I live in Germany and in the last 4 years I've not seen one speed bump.. I'll probably give them a go cause of the price and I'm not too fussed about the drive, German summer is pretty good so I'll just be cruisin'.

So jealous... I can't go down any stretch of road without facing several severe bumps that mean I have to cross them sideways even with stock suspension!

I need to move to Germany!

I think even with standard springs driving over speed boats can be tricky :poke:
