I've been using a HTC S730 (AKA Vox in some markets) mobile with the bluetooth handsfree in my car. It worked flawlessly, even the phonebook showed up as it should. However when I decided to swap the HTC for a better phone (the HTC is a good tool, but not a very good cellphone) I experienced problems pairing my new Sony Ericsson C902 with the car. The phone frequently disconnected and re-connected and i could not access the phonebook.
After doing a little research I deleted all text messages on the phone, and voilá, it now works as it should. This seems to do the trick with other Sony Ericsson phones as well.
