Fix Discolor Leather

Hello,

I was very unfortunate and had Purell spill on my seat. When I wiped it off, it discolored my leather.

I was wondering what I can purchase or do to recolor it/fix the spot.

Thank you!

Furniture clinic does great colouring packages for each colour seat. Worked very well for mine.

Just thinking about the product though, that is what you put on your hands :o

Thanks! My cars seat spec sheet says the interior is beige. But the beige online looks darker. Would cream match the z4?

Take the actual colour (from the spec sheet) and put that code in the request. The last lot I bought from Amazon and used the actual paint code so there is no misunderstanding.

I see, my build sheet only says Beige Leather. Any way I can find the code you are referring to?

If you have your VIN, you can use this: https://www.mdecoder.com

In there, it will have the proper name of the colour. That is the one you want to request from Furniture clinic

Thanks, unfortunately they only seem to have a very specific set of colors for the USA. Looks like the UK version has the color I have (Oregon Beige). Will give the Cream option a try and see how it works.

By the way, do you have any recommendations for coloring the soft top and taking care of it?

Thanks!!

Raggtopp is the go to product really. Others are available but I don’t know how good they are.

If your car shows up as Oregon beige, that is what you type in as the custom colour at the furniture clinic site.

If you are worried about the colour match, it’s not a bad idea to recolour the whole seat (and the other one). Beige does get dirty and will benefit from a refresh. Not a massive job either.

It looks like the European website gets the ability to do custom colors, but the US version does not. I ended up ordering the cream color which looked the most similar.

Will check out Raggtopp, thanks!
