fitting wind deflector from eBay any help appreciated

Hi I just bought a wind deflector from eBay that comes with 2 small brackets but I cannot see how this fits?
Only possibility I can see would be to remove the plastic panel behind the hoops is this poss or has anyone else installed one of these?

I have the same one.
It does require removing all the plastic, which is a pain of a job from what I gathered online.
Instead I made my own L shaped brackets that I stuck down with some 3M double sided tape, then covered over with some Tyvek tape.

I couldn't see an easy way to get the plastic off either, from what I remember it involves a hell of a lot of dismantling, like hours worth.

Been up to above the NSL with no movement what so ever from it. Tyvek, if you are not familiar with it is an industrial strength outdoor waterproof Facade tape that costs about £40 a roll that I just happened to have lying around, if you know anyone that works in construction see if you can get a few inches, if not something else would do, i used this as it has a fabric finish so didn't look too out of place, oh, and because it is bloody strong :lol:

Glad you are sorted. Did you hack up the brackets that came with it or make your own?
Think I decided to make my own in case I ever came to sell it, but hacking the back off the supplied brackets probably would have been the easiest option.

You just had to take off the seat belt guid and the part came away easily

Thanks Pk1, I’ll have go at fitting mine now.

You just have to cut a little bit of the plastic where the brackets are so it clips back in! When you take of the seat belt guide just pull from the side the plastic part comes apart easily then you will see the screw in the middle that fixes the bracket,remove and reinstall screw with bracket then cut out around bracket just the part that fits under the front section.
I found it easier to put the roof up slightly about 1ft in order to get leveridge to get the plastic to clip back in.
