Fitting the Gruppe M today, any before and afters worth doin

Do you get a certain number of trackdays a year? Wondering whether it's worth me changing to these boys rather than pay £200 or so every time I want to go to the track

seems like youd benefit alot from jumping ship..... cant argue 4 trackdays in with the cover!!

Wow really does look like REIS are good.
They are also based about half a mile from where I work lol.
Even closer when I worked in Landmark house.
Will defo be paying them a visit when my renewal is up at the start of June :)

Right, so - Mark, pics & vid or ban, as ga41 said :D

Second, these REIS people - are your policies all on limited / low mileage ? My policy with Direct Line is expensive, but I am assuming it is because I have a high mileage as a daily...

And Mark, just to be clear -

:worthless:

{"]Got so caught up in the new arrival I forgot to report back:

SOUNDS AWESOME!! At first I was a bit worried as I thought I felt a noticeable flat spot around the middle of the rev range. But it sorted itself out after a few miles

What surprised me was the noise. Sure I've fitted induction before on cars and they all seem to have this deep growl beneath the bonnet. and yeah you get that with this, but when the revs get up it screams! Love it

Just worried its going to all get a bit too noisy when I fit the latest arrivals :) Although I've always loved noisy cars, just been enjoying the civilised way this cars is but I'd just get bored of that in time anyway :D

That was quick Mark

Just phoned REIS, their quote was excellent! Unfortunately you can only do a maximum of 7,000 miles pa though :(

Perfect for Beedub, not so good for people who take their cars across Europe. Mind you, if I fit a supercharger I'm not sure I'll be using it for roadtrips quite as often...

Oh and M@r]{, I still can't hear your car growling and screaming....videos please as we're all getting a little impatient here :poke:

B@lls - that's a shame... Having driven mine 10k since I bought it 7 months ago, I don't think I could bear to drive it less anyway :D

You sure on the miles thing? I'm sure I've got upto 10k pa? Got me thinking now though, better call them on Monday

Oh and here are some pictures fitted. As with the exhausts was going to get come clips but the heavens opened so will have to wait

That does look lovely

Question though, bearing in mind I know squat about these things so this is a Stoopid one... Isn't the 'mouth' of the filter housing supposed to be flush to the air intake under the top of the front of the bonnet, if that makes sense ? I can see that it looks like there's quite a lot of dirt gotten in there from you hooning in the rain :D

Just wondering - it's probably designed to be like that to get more air in and I will be corrected shortly

Still can't wait to hear it....

Don't know, I probably fitted it wrong :D I had to refit it this morning as I didn't fit the mesh from the OEM airbox yesterday. I'm terrible, I consider referring to the instructions as questioning my masculinity :P

 good man... There was me fearing a lecture from the man with the drift car lol

Still, looks sweet... Don't forget to let us know what you do to the M3 when you decide to stop neglecting it

Will do but the M3 isn't going to get the same attention Barry... sorry the Z4 is getting ;)

The intake is through the grill and theres a small tube already in place to direct flow into the Gruppe M.

I dont suppose anyone in the area near gatwick airport has a gruppe m induction kit... I would love to hear one to possibly make my next purchase

Cheers Wes
