Sure it will have been done but has anyone got pics or know what the difference in height.drop will be ?
Also interested to hear if it affected the comfort ?
I really like the way my aged 85 drives & handles so don't want to compromise that but i have a set of E86 Sport springs with my name on so obviously temptation will get the better of me

Height drop should be about 15mm Mr W. The ride will not suffer too much, especially as you have non-run flats on. This was my previous roadie on Sport springs :

Check that you can use e86 springs though, I'm pretty sure coupe and roadster are different. Possibly only the rears.

Actually, you've got 19s on, right ? Looking at your sig pic it looks like the arches are pretty well filled anyway.

No mate they are 18s  wheel style, low offset & tyre size all aids the impression of lowered stance

Bing, did you find the rear sat higher than the front on your 3.0si on Sport springs? In terms of arch gap.

No, I didn't as far as I recall. That's not a brilliant pic to compare the two, but if you zoom they look pretty much the same ?

Hi mr wilks, I have a 3.0si fitted with m sport suspension, as a guide I can just get my flat hand between the top of the rear tyre & the arch

Thanks, yes I'd agree yours looks right. For a while now I've wondered if the previous owner of mine put the correct rear springs when they snapped. Always thought it looked too high at the back. Pictures below aren't great - more prominent in real life.

P.S. Sorry for the thread hijack!

A 2.5 SE on FK springs with 18" wheels.
I wouldn't want to go any lower, but it is a lovely firm ride and handles really well.
Not advisable for a daily drive though.

Id agree that doesn't sit like Sport spec springs are fitted :?

Number5 , that look's a bit low for me , i would only be happy if the wheelarch lip sits above the tyre tread

I have 25-30 mm currently so reckoned if the Sport springs are 15mm less than Se then i'd be sitting pretty
