Hi

I have searched for this on previous posts but I want to fit a Parrot 9200 to a Z4 2005. It has a Business stereo and subwoofers behind the seats but no cd changer. Does this mean there is a separate amp in the car for the subwoofers ?

Also, once the Parrot kit is fitted will the stereo display aux or do I need the get a dealership to programme the stereo ?

Any experience would be appreciated.

Thanks

Rob

WIth mine i just put it straight in myself. Downside is it doesn't change on button press only on phone call or playing music. Once playing stereo controls are dead and it displays 'PHONE' meaning you have to get volume higher before playing music or the parrot wont go loud enough. I gave up looking for a fix! SOunds great though!

I've found my carver amp by the battery, so I only need help about the aux mode being setup by a dealership ? Is it necessary and can anyone point me in the right direction to the correct USO adapter lead to work with the amp ?

Thanks

I got this cable, just plug in the parrot blue box straight into this cable and it all works a treat!

P.S the cables you get with the parrot kit are not required when you use the above cable too!

This is the easiest method I ever found, the pic is the instruction sheet i got, hope this helps, the. The company is helpful too and actually pick up the phone :)
