Fitting headlight washer cover

Has anyone had to replace the plastic trim that covers the hole where the headlight washer pops up out of the bumper?

I lost mine a little while ago (mysteriously fell off), and have got a replacement from the dealer but need to fit it.
The washer jet has a rocking bracket on top that looks like it fits into the trim on one side and snaps in on the other, but the problem is that while its recessed into the bumper I can't get the second side to snap in. Is there a way of getting it to pop up for fitting this? or do I just need to persevere trying to fit it while recessed?
Cheers

It's real easy:

Get a grip of the top of the washer jet assembly. Easiest bit to hold is the traingular shaped cover mount. You can pull it a couple of inches proud of the bumper cover. I do it by hand but you could carefully use pliers.

Hold it above the bumper in one hand, using the other locate one end of the cover onto the pin and the other end twists and clicks on. Let go and it all settles into the bumper.

30 seconds job
