Does any one have a photo of the tool used to secure the latch above the windscreen, when fitting/removing hardtop, many thanks .....

Not immediately but its basically a large L-shaped Allen key with one end to operate the windscreen clamp allen bolt and the other end rounded off to go in the hole in the two side clamps so that they can be turned and locked.

If you are missing one then its just as easy to find (i) an allen key that fits the screen clamp and (ii) a screwdriver that will go through the side clamps.

like he says above, its a big ass allen key, maybe 11-12mm

the other tool is a L shaped tool with a circular plug on the end

You're post could read as if it's 2 tools. In fact the oem is just one allen key rounded at one end.

I'm intrigued to know what you use an 'ass allen key' for?

Where I come from it would be for loosening dangle berries

I should be getting my hardtop soon, and was instructed it came with this tool. I will take a pic in a couple of weeks when it arrives... :)
