Fitting face lift/ M parts to standard 2004 model

I am in the process of fitting an uplift front bumper and an M bumper to my 2004 2.5, Z4. but I am not sure how many parts I will need to change. From What I have managed to find out it will be:

Front Bumper:

1 New Headlights

2. New lower Grill

3 New Fog Lights

Not sure about Kidney Grills

Rear M Bumper:

1. New Lights

2. New Exhaust


Not sure if I have missed anything but all advice greatly received
 
The kidney grills are the same size on both.You need the m under tray as the std one will be to short.
 
For the front bumper you'll also need brake ducts and mounting brackets

If you stick with the standard undertray then fab up a joining strip to bridge the gap
 
The brake ducts and mounting brackets, is that just for an M front bumper or a straight uplift one as well??

Just the M. Mine is a 2.5l e85 with M front. Easy to do. Ducts n brackets to fill the big holes. Retro'd little halo drl's n fogs into the ducts. :thumbsup:
Good for it makes the Zed look how it should.

I had misread that you are fitting an ///M on both ends. By 'uplift' you mean 'facelift'.

Many of the posts are therefore incorrect and for a facelift front you need lower grilles and fog lights. No need for ducts, brackets or an undertray.
 
That's good, should save me a bit of money then and I wont need the M badges either, not trying to turn it into a fake M, just want to make it more pleasing on my eyes :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

I have a facelift bumper complete with lower grill, foglight and the side reflectors available. Colour is Monaco Blue. Drop me a PM if interested.
 
Hi CJC72. Did you sell the bumper. If not I may be interested. I have a 2007 and the front bumper is damaged. Not Monaco Blue but would need to have mine painted if repaired. Cheers Jay.
