Fitting Eibach Springs

Hi All.

Im hopefully going to get my new tyres and wheels fitted this weekend.

I also want to get the springs done aswell, however im getting quoted silly money from local garages to fit the springs.

To fit and balance the wheels and also have the springs done, im looking at 400quid, which is madness.

Has anyone had this done in south west london by a garage.

Or has anyone actually done it themselves and fancy giving me a hand this weekend, more with the springs rather than the tyres>

HELPPPP!

I've read a few people have done this on their own - but it is easier with a helping hand.

Just saw your post on NL, myself and a few mates are regular visitors to that particular piece of tarmac, me with a standard 2.5 Z4 and my mates with M3's. Not in South London, but my mates swear by an indie near to Edmonton in NE London 0208 804 2002. They're proper enthusiasts and highly recommended. Might be worth a try.

Cheers

The rears are so easy, 6 bolts, 5 of which hold the wheel on. When undoing the bolt at the bottom of the shock absorber becareful cus the spring cup and attatched brake disc etc will ping down about 4-6 inches, can make you jump if your not expecting it!

If you do end up taking it to a garage, do the rears yourself that way it'll be a bit cheaper
