Fitting a Z4M LCM

I've been thinking/planning a Z4M front end conversion for the last few days, pricing it up, etc.

I feel like I want to do it properly and it will more than likely become a permanent fixture on the car I.e. I won't take it off whenever I choose to part with the car.

So the front fogs will no longer be required, I was thinking why don't I just fit a lighting control module which only has a button for rear fog making it a neat conversion. (I have one too)

Is it as simple as plug and play or will the module have to be coded?

What have others done with their fog lights when they have fitted the z4m bumper conversion?

It has to be coded. It hold the cars mileage. You will need someone who knows what they are doing otherwise the mileage tamper dot will appear.

For the sake of removing a button i simply bagged the wires and left the lcm as it was.

I am planning on retro fitting some prefaclift fogs in the brake ducts at some point.... I dont need the extra brake cooler they provide!!

Hi i have fitted the single fog light switch! the front covers unclip from the casing! i then cut a short piece of tube to fit in between the switch on the pcb and plastic button, so when you press the button it only presses the rear fog switch, it will take 15 mins to do! i didnt want to have a switch that doesn't do anything! lol :D
