Has anyone had a Quaife LSD fitted ? I know that Birds are the only ones who can supply a BMW one.
I want to fit one to my Alpina Roadster :) .

Any idea on the cost of the Diff and fitting time.

Quaife's site says POA and refer you to Birds, A boxster one is about £900, because of Bird's monopoly are they stupidly expensive :(

I would like LSD on my 3.0se ...

Wish they would fit LSD to some non M car's...only car's i've heard of having it are the old E30 325 Motorsports,The new E90 320si..I thinkthe E30 318is migth have it aswell?

It looks like Birds have basically monopolised the diffs, in the UK at least.

Might be worth talking to Quaife in a different country?!

Usually their diffs are about £495+vat it seems, not £900+vat that Birds quote.

The Birds web site states a Quaife diff for an Alpina 3.4 roadster is £829.06 and £1145.16 fitted.
Looked at this for my roadster s a while back, but the price put me off. Would love to have an LSD as I think the electronics just kill the power to much when a wheel starts to slip.
My last car, a humble Mazda MX-5, could pull out smarter from a T junction in the wet. LOL
