Fitting a MFSW

Hi all, ive just bought and received a MFSW (standard not M sport) from a seller on eBay. Just a quick question on fitting, my car is a 54 plate, will it have the required fitting cable installed already or will i need to buy this also? Ive read 3 different dates in other posts about this that support the cable 2003, 2004 and 2006 so im not sure which is true.

Thanks all for the help and does anyone want or need a standard wheel in great condition :D
 
Thanks, mine is a late 54 so hopefully should have the cable. I guess il find out in the morning! Anyone know what paint the standard wheel inserts are painted with? Its silver but its not titan silver like the body of my car? I need to give the new wheel a bit of a refurb before fitting.
 
If you look in the thread for the retrofit it shows you how to check easily by simply dropping off the lower cowl
