fitting a double din player???

i have one of those business headunit on my z4 at the moment and looking to get a double din player fitting into it, i wonder is it possible to get this done? would it involve taking 2 of the fans out as well|??

Don't think it's possible as there isn't enough room behind the vents, if you modify the ventilation pipework it maybe possible. I do seem to recall a heavily modded Z4 with Double din with alcantera dash and so on.

This would involve alot of work, best bet would be a pop out screen headunit.

yeah i would also say get a pop up screen one.. which can offer greater screen real estate then a double din anyway.

I did look into this, it is possible/plausible but involves cutting away the ventilation duct work behind the vents, which if you ever wanted to put back to standard would mean a lot of work!
