Fitting 108 style alloys to an E89

Hi folks,
Just wanted to jump across to you all on the e89 site ( I'm usually lurking in the e85/86 threads) . I'm planning on having the wife's alloys refurbished and though it might be easier to stick my old two piece 108 alloys on her car whilst the work is done and wondered if they will fit okay without catching or rubbing? The e89 wears the same size rubber as these wheels and both are 18" so I'm thinking they would fit but I'm sure you guys would know for sure? Many thanks.

I’m guessing the 120 stud config will be the same. I doubt the refurb will take more than a week so you might find that you didn’t actually need to use it; the 108s acting as axle stands 😉 others will undoubtedly know better… be worth checking the offsets before driving it, just to have some confidence in clearances

The offsets will be badly wrong..I'd put one one and spin it whilst its up in the air..I had an issue with 103s and 28i discs..fitted them then found the wheels wouldn't rotate.. :tumbleweed:

Well that's interesting to note, yes, l guess I'll just have to stick one on and see, but I guess using them as axle stands is a good second option.

103 are an inch smaller that 108s

Yes realise that…but the caliper could catch laterally..better to be safe than sorry ..or find someone who has done that combo..not sure which E89..
