Just ask for the Z4 ZHP Gear Knob. If you ring Jamie at BMW Sopers in Lincoln, mention this forum, he'll send you one for about £44 including VAT and postage.
It is not illuminated but most people don't bother because they know exactly where the gear stick is.![]()

I concur. The weighted shift, combined with the shorter lever really does make shifting better![]()
